And before you think Hillary is different than Obama….

Since my last post talked only about Obama, I wanted to remind my gentle readership that Hillary Clinton has only one term as Senator and would not have completed here second term if she was elected. Just like the Republican Governor from Texas!!!

Hillary is hoping to be a “Margaret Thatcher” but the simple truth is that the British are…well…acclimated to women rulers (God Save The Queen), and even with the fact that nearly half (48%) of all privately-held U.S. firms are 50% or more now women-owned, America still maintains a perception – and no I do not subscribe to it – that women can not be in charge.

And don’t give me the Nancy Pelosi bullshit, either. If the Speaker of the House elections were done by the people, things would be different.

Sorry…it just a simple truth that I do not think will be corrected anytime soon.

Just like I said about Obama, Hillary should step down and let a seasoned veteran run. If she wants to show that she is serious about America, she would just back Bill Richardson.

Minority Report can kiss my ass!

My darling girlfriend Lynn just sent me this incredible video of an item she now wants for Christmas. The developers (Perceptive Pixel) have gone way beyond the interface used in Minority Report with their touchscreen technology.

Watching this touchscreen in action is just plain spectacular. Hopefully I’ll be able to afford and own this in my lifetime!

For BOTH Lynn and I, of course .

So…where did the aliens hide our President?!?

Environmental custodianship (including development of alternative fuels), health care for the poor and Elderly including honoring people who give back to their community, both here and abroad….

So who was the guy on the podium tonight?

Clone, spy, CYLON?!?

Just when you thought a lame duck President couldn’t surprise you, BAM!! He becomes a man of the modern???

I had to watch it a second time on CSPAN to see if maybe I had dozed off or something, but I hadn’t.

So what’s up? I’ll tell you.

Barak Obama and Hillary Clinton being real contenders for the White House.

I was originally going to do a separate post as to why Barak should back down and support, say, Bill Richardson in 2008 (because I’m worried there are many of you out there that have forgotten what happens when you put a political “rookie” [as in GW...hullo] in the top spot because you think he’s going to do better than the old farts already there) and get some seasoning under his belt before vying for the Presidency but now I’m thinking I’ll just go over it here to help make my point.

Yes, Barak is a refreshing change from the Democrats of 2000 and 2004, but remember that a country though the same thing of the Republican Governor from Texas who only did one term before stepping up to be President. However, like the Governor of Texas, if elected he will not have served even a complete term in the Senate by 2008. And liking to Mr. Bush, he has little executive experience and no track record at being able to forge or at least develop, policy decisions based on complex and multiple inputs.

So like Yin to Yang Barak Obama would be a “Bush for the next generation.”

OK…so how does this tie in with what I was talking about earlier then? Right now the Republicans have lost and lost BADLY. Not in a “mandate” as our Democratic leaders would have you think but because in choosing, we were so tired of the crazed ridiculousness we did the knee-jerk thing and voted for the other guys.

So what do you do when you at bottom? You hedge…even if it means hedging against yourself.

The GOP knows that if they do not appeal to the groups they have ostracized in placating the extreme right of America, they will be as the Romans would say “subject to the vilification of the mob” and loose all power on the hill…and the last time this happened the party that lost that badly stayed the underdog for almost half a century!

This makes Mr. Bush the guy you hear about that comes to a Las Vegas casino with all the money he has (sold the house, car, etc.) to make that one final bet for his fortune because he has nothing left.

However the guy doing this betting has bet on the Roulette wheel after taking classes on Texas Hold ‘Em.

Can’t wait for the state of the Economy next week….maybe he’ll have a large pumped up audience like Howie Mandel on Deal Or No Deal.

Awfully funny – Harry Enfield

While I’m normally against prejudice of any kind…(Oh for PETE’S SAKE! Those statements are just to emphasize my dissatisfaction, nothing more I swear!) I do enjoy the humor and also love to spread it around (just get a couple of drinks in me and you’ll see – just remember you’ll be buying though).

Regardless, enjoy the video:
