Liberals….I I just love these "conspiracy theories" you guys come up with!

Too funny! Reminds me of the guys who tie Clinton to 9/11 (http://www.pardonmyenglish.com/index.php?p=224).

Bill Maher has a show called ‘Real Time w/Bill Maher’ on HBO. It’s pretty good. While I would call him a closet Liberal rather than a Libertarian, he does a rant called "New Rules" on his show. In this case one of his new rules works. Here’s a the actual transcripts from the show he puts on his
website:

New Rule: George Bush isn’t Hitler. In the contest sponsored by MoveOn.org, two entries compared Bush to Hitler, ignoring the first rule for being taken seriously by grown-ups, which is don’t call everyone you don’t like, Hitler. [laughter] Bush is not Hitler. For one thing, Hitler was a decorated frontline combat veteran. [laughter] [applause]

Also, in the election that brought him to power in 1933, Hitler got more votes than the other candidate. [laughter] [applause] And Hitler had a mustache. [laughter] So let’s all take a rest from playing the Hitler card. Unless we’re talking about Saddam Hussein. Now, THAT guy was Hitler. [laughter] [game show bell sounds].

This is nothing more than snippets, and conclusions drawn from obscure places. It’s similar to the many "movie spoilers" you see on the internet. You really don’t know unless you were there or see official documentation.

It’s like the bible….taken out of context, you CAN have sex with animals (http://www.postfun.com/pfp/NC-17Bible.html)!

Saddam Hussein, disavowed CIA operative. WOW!

I hope that didn’t hurt pulling that out of your respective asses!

Some interesting facts after researching their claims on the video:

The Baathist party actually does have its origins…it’s tied to the Nazi party!

Witness the pro-Axis coup in Baghdad in ’41 by al-Kalani or some such, backed by Baath Party founders, who requested support from Nazis. The party organized around classless racial unity, the word Baath itself means renaissance or resurrection (sound familiar?)

We already live in a screwed up world. Liberals (like everyone else) need to look inward.

We only have ourselves to blame….

Tearful Goodbye

There are so few people who truly touch your life in a memorable way. John
Watson was one of these people. New Year’s eve was a time of closure and
reflection in more ways than one. I attended a funeral for what all who
spoke at his service called "A good man."

I wonder if he really knew how many people he affected. The Kenai Central H.S.
Auditorium holds @2,500 and that auditorium was packed. So much so that
they had to setup the gym with a video feed for the overflow.

There was one amazing tale told by the Chief of Police, Chuck Kopp, where a woman
remembers only "Hello, I’m Officer Watson" before succumbing to the effects of
the sleeping pills. How she doesn’t even remember their conversation, except for
the calm soothing voice that kept her from unconsciousness. She doesn’t remember
the ambulance, hospital, etc. just the voice of the first officer on the scene
that kept her alive. She states in her letter that she had planned to stop in
and thank the man that saved her live almost three years earlier. Almost
1000 chances to say "thank you." To say "look at my life now." To say, "thank
you for helping me to have a good life, a husband and now children."

It was one of many emotional moments.

To Chief Kopp and Pastor Higginbotham, thanks for your reflections. It helped
us to understand more about him.

To Kathy, I wish I could have done more than give you hugs that day. I hope
you can find peace in the fact he waits for you in heaven.

To everyone that was there or wanted to be there, your support showed what we
all knew about John.

He was — no — is a good man and he will not be
forgotten.
